It's hard to believe, but even Lola Arriola's day only has 24 hours, but each one is filled to bursting. Lola, Argentinian by birth, is a qualified guitar teacher and, together with a good friend, runs a music school they founded together. Lola also plays in a band for which she composes the songs. Music is one of her two great passions in life. The other is nature conservation. This led her to take up an online degree in Environmental Studies in 2021.

Lola has also been working for EuroNatur since August 2024. Here, she primarily supports the foundation's project managers by reviewing financial reports from EuroNatur partner organisations and writing her own reports to EuroNatur donors or preparing the external audit. Lola particularly appreciates the EU-funded projects, which place high demands on the administration. One of these is the cross-border EU Life project to protect the aquatic warbler, the rarest songbird in Europe.

Lola herself says: ‘Protecting the environment, nature and animals as well as campaigning against climate change are not only a passion for me, but also an important duty. Professionally, I want to contribute my enthusiasm for nature conservation by working in organisations that are committed to these goals. That's why I decided to work for EuroNatur. My colleagues and the partner organisations motivate me with their daily commitment to the protection of Europe's natural heritage.’
