© Packraft EuropeA particularly successful example for entrepreneurial support of nature conservation projects of the EuroNatur Foundation comes from the company "Packraft Europe" from Gosau (Austria). It organizes courses and tours along wild rivers and runs an online shop for packrafts and outdoor equipment. That is why the outdoor-enthusiastic team is concerned to preserve the rivers and their landscapes for the future.
For example, Packraft Europe supports the "Save the Blue Heart of Europe" campaign to save Europe's last wild rivers:
- by producing and promoting a short film about packrafting and river conservation (https://youtu.be/8ftqkfM_xCU)
- by communicating the campaign's concerns intensively
- on the company website packrafteurope.com (menue "explore" -> "conservation")
- on the website of the yearly event "Packrafting Meet-up Europe" (menue "conservation")
- on the company's profiles on social media
- by making a donation for river conservation a precondition for participation in the yearly packrafting meetup
- with its membership in "1% for the planet" (onepercentfortheplanet.org)
- and by encouraging others to use their possibilities to support river conservation.
In this way, Packraft Europe helps us to raise awareness of the threat posed to the Balkan rivers by excessive dam construction and to find new supporters. The donations are used to support the immediate achievement of the campaign goals. An optimal promotion for which we are very grateful!
