Photo Competition

The winners have been chosen

A male bearded tit (Panurus biarmicus) sits in the morning light on two reed stalks at the same time with its legs spread apart.

Pretty athletic: Bearded tits are skilful climbers in the reed forest. This year's competition sixth place.

An athletic bearded tit, frosty reindeer antlers and starlings that almost resemble shōgun warriors. This year's winning images in the EuroNatur photo competition, for which around 2,900 entries were received, once again illustrate just how diverse Europe's nature is.

A warm thanks to all those who joined in. The twelve prize-winning photographs of this year’s competition will adorn the 2025 EuroNatur calendar and will be published in the 3-2024 edition of the EuroNatur magazine, the magazine “natur” and on the webpages of the organisers.

Make a note now in your diary that there will be another competition for “Europe’s Natural Wonders” in 2025! The announcement for the new competition will be on this website at the beginning of December. Find out about entering via our newsletter or at Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. Start now! It’s never too early to capture Europe’s natural wonders in pictures!
